Andrew J. Weaver

Andrew J. Weaver is a climate scientist in the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria, British Columbia,[1] and a lead author of a chapter on Global Climate Projections in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's report "Climate Change 2007: The Physical Science Basis". [2] He has also published a popular science book on climate change: "Keeping Our Cool: Canada in a Warming World" (Viking Canada, 2008. ISBN 978-0670068005).
Weaver has been named a Guggenheim Fellow, a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a member of the Order of British Columbia and one of the top 20 scientists in Canada under the age of 40, and is listed as an opinion blogger for the Vancouver Sun.
